Tony Gillinham please. :)
Gillingham is so much nicer and much more of gentleman than Blake, Blake thinks he's better than everyone else
I disagree about Blake - he doesn't think he's better, rather he's a believer in progress and hard work (he's certainly willing to get his hands dirty in order to get a job done), and he prefers for people to know him for who he is rather than for what he's going to inherit. He's got my vote to be with Mary. Though I wonder what his history with Mrs Dudley Ward is.
I just read somewhere that Michelle Dockery might be leaving Downton after Season 5. Of course I know it is rumor and in all propability might not be true, but still, it makes me wonder.
Maybe she'll move to America then we can have a spin-off.
I would think one year would be the least amount of mourning time appropriate before courting again. Yet she moved very quickly from catatonic mourning to keeping three suitors on a merry chase. Of course it's all about Mary.
Why these men are so enamored is beyond me. So many young men died in the war there are plenty of young women to choose from, who don't come along with the extra baggage of someone else's child who WILL inherit at the expense of the man's own son. Why bother?
Why Napier bothers is beyond me, as he has seen up close and personal Mary's behavior, on again off again, capricious torment of suitors.
But I get it, the show is about Mary and her father and how everyone protects them from their own self centered and childish tempers.
It's more fun if she doesn't marry again. I hope she stays single and interesting.
I like Mary and everything, but she can be very self-centered, but then again remember she is the oldest daughter of an earl, with a super rich mother, in a time that glorified people like her
What do you think?
