Did they write Isis out of the series because of the current political war on terror - ISIS 2014?
If so I think this stinks. It means the rotten terrorists have 'won' again.
If it is too late to save Isis then can she be replaced with a dog called "Christian or Freedom"??
Yes...Anubis would be adorable, though i think it might be appropriate then to have it be a black lab, though then again, it just wouldn't feel right
Black labs are terrific companions and great actors, but really hard to photograph. They just come off as a shiny black blob. All that personality is really hard to capture.
Somewhere I have read that Isis was written out of the series because the name is associated with ISIS, the Islamic State and Syria. Political correctness rules!
All shoot me but I couldn't care less about this story. I love dogs but this was nothing but a silly space filler. Better use could have been mad developing some of the other characters' story lines.
I think Isis was written out so that in the next episode Lord Grantham would talk to the stonecarver about a stone for her and get the idea to put up a memorial to Mrs Patmore's nephew.
Apparently Hugh Bonneville came up with the idea to write her out because they'd leapt so much over the 5 series so it was unbelievable that she'd still be alive - age impossibility doesn't seem to affect Fellowes though, look at Violet, she's about 100 now...
No, Violet is 83.
And, believe me, she doesn't seem to be going anywhere at all when it comes to dying!
What do you think?
