Regarding Daisy's marriage to William? In episode 2.6 when Daisy brought in the tea tray and just looked at Anna, Bates, Ms. O'Brien, and Jane before leaving in a huff, and Anna said "Give her time" did they know the full reason of why Daisy was so upset, or did they just assume that she was a grieving widow?
It's unclear because as Daisy was getting prepared for her wedding in the servants' hall in 2.5 and Anna was fixing her hair, she said out loud for all to hear "But it's a lie", so it seems like they were all aware of the situation.
However, in 2.6 when Daisy is spilling her heart out to everyone sitting in the servants' hall, "He thought I loved him, but I didn't, I should have never married him in the first place..." it made it sound like they were all hearing it for the first time.
So which is it? Did they know before Daisy spilled her heart out or didn't they?
