It is said that she and Edith will get into a huge dispute. The only proable reason is that Mary finally learns that Marigold is really her youngest niece and a bastard child and confront Edith about it.

i dont understand why they would get into a dispute. edith did the same as mary, only mary took care that there would be no "consequences".

Some have suggested Mary might feel upset that she was kept in the dark about this secret so Edith could start the fight by escalating it to that level by reminding Mary of reasons why she did not trust her. Or if Mary really does decide to use it as a weapon as Cora suggested in 6x02, the fight could come about from that as well, the idea behind that being due to Edith telling the Turkish ambassador in season 1 about Kemal Pamuk.
But whether the fight has to do with Marigold or not, in the end I imagine Mary would realize how much she and Edith have in common that she did not see before, as well as seeing that she coudl have been in the same position as Edith, twice, had her luck been worse. So perhaps they will have a quieter talk after they cool off from such a fight; perhaps Cora and Robert, Cora certainly, would remind Mary of the past and how it's time to move on.
