Come on!! There's only this and one more episode left (though I much prefer five more with the thirteen episode as the seris finale; ending in 1927 or 1928.
Will it be a boy or girl? What's its name going to be and who will he/she resemble?
Emily and Lily are great names. I like Emily. Bates and Anna certainly could have a girl. This certainly may be stretching it a bit, but perhaps when Rose returns with Atticus she'll reveal herself to be pregnant and gives birth to a son, before Anna.
Twins, better. Boy and girl and everybody will be happy :D
Well, Anna has a sister - and John's mother is Irish and Scottish, so anything could be used. I'd quite prefer Eobhan - or whatever the Irish spelling of Evelyn - is.
I'm predicting a boy, for reasons listed above. For names, I'd say James, William, Joseph, Jack, or Edward. If it is indeed a girl, I'm guessing Margaret, Ruth, Elizabeth, or Alice. 38 more days!
Certainly some have speculated that Rose might be pregnant in the last episode. Well, if she is and is the one to have a son, somewhere in at least one another forum I recall the names David and Joseph were suggested (reasoning that Joseph is a name found in both the Old and New Testaments, and David is the name of both a king of Israel and the patron saint of Wales, and Shrimpie's title of Lord Flintshire is Welsh).
Getting back to the topic of a name for Bates and Anna's child, for a boy, I like Edward, Edmund, Owen, Oliver, and Christopher. Also, if she gives birth to a son close to Christmas, perhaps he could be named Nicholas or Christian.
In both cases, for a girl I like the names Elizabeth, Emily, Lily, Catherine, Charlotte, Margaret, Adeline, Ruth, Rebecca, Naomi, and Sarah.
I don't think they'll go for Jewish names, certainly. David, perhaps as it's Lord Sinderby's name, but nothing Jewish.
I thought Lord Sinderby's name was Daniel. And I think the reasoning behind the names of David and Joseph would be that they would appeal to both sides and faiths of the family (Rose did say she wanted to respect both sides when she became engaged, just as Atticus insisted any children he and Rose had would grow up knowing both faiths, even if they were officially born Anglican).
Oh, yes, sorry, Daniel.
This chat is obviously for Banna shippers so please don't make it negative
What do you think?
