</p><p>How can they differentiate the bells from all the rooms, if nobody was visually observing the panel as it was ringing?
</p><p>I tryed to search for an answer - but none so far.

Each bell has a different sound. The coiled metal is a unique shape giving a distint sound. </p>

<p>That was actually brought up in one of the behind the scenes specials. Typically the bells would each have individual tones, but in the show they do not. Of course it will continue to move for a short time after ringing, so that would be one way to tell.
