She also said "Bye!" to Edith in either 5x1 or 5x2.
I think this child has Aspergers syndrome. She's always carried, never speaks and has a blank, distant look in her eyes all the time - I know the confusion and over stimulus of a film set must be a lot to cope with for a small child, but the other children in the series, interact, speak and walk. I haven't seen Series 6 yet, maybe she comes to life a little more.......
It's nothing to do with that. You can't make a judgement on a child when she's out of her natural surroundings. A film set is very busy and the actresses would not have been used to it in series 5, in series 6 Marigold is seen playing and enjoying herself, so it's just a case of getting used to atmosphere. And I don't think it's quite appropriate to talk about a child that way, especially with such little information. I think Marigold is adorable, for example when she was mooing at the cows.
never heard of shy children? If a child is not extremely lively and extroverted must necessarily have some syndrome?
