The Downton Abbey Tea Truck was a promotion in New York City conceived by The Media Kitchen and run by marketing firm Awestruck for PBS (primarily WNET). The truck was parked different Manhattan locations from Monday, December 9, 2013 to Friday, December 13, 2013. Costumed server doled out free tea and cookies to fans and let them take photos against the backdrop of Highclere Castle on the truck.
