Easingwold is the fictional version of a market town and civil parish in Yorkshire, England. Historically, part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, it is located about 12 miles (19 km) north of York, near the foot of the Howardian Hills.
It is only mentioned as in reference to Easingwold Church that Edith might show Matthew Crawley (in Series 1) and the town where Samuel Thawley is from (in Series 4).
