Mr Evans shows Robert memorial stones for Isis. His father had made many stones for the Crawley dogs in the past.
Seeing a book of samples of Mr Evans' work, Robert commissions him a stone honouring the memory of Archie Philpotts, Mrs Patmore's nephew who was shot for cowardice during the war.
