Harriet Walter (born as Harriet Mary Walter) is the acclaimed actress who plays Lady Shackleton in the fourth, fifth, and sixth series of Downton Abbey.

Walter is the niece of the late renowned actor Sir Christopher Lee. Walter is also the great-great-great-granddaughter of John Walter, the founder of The Times.
