Rowland Thomas Baring, 2nd Earl of Cromer, GCB, GCIE, GCVO, PC, ADC is an officer of the Royal Household of England.
During the London season of 1923, the Lord Chamberlain announced the names of the ladies presented before King George V, his wife Mary of Teck, and their son and heir the Prince of Wales, among them Madeleine Allsopp and Rose MacClare.

- Baring is depicted wearing the sash of a similar color to the Knight Companion of the Order of the Garter, but the emblem near the bottom is not that of the Order of the Garter, so it is not clear what it signifies.
