Matthew Goode (born as Matthew William Goode on 3rd April 1978; Exeter, England) portrayed Henry Talbot in the fifth and sixth series of Downton Abbey and Downton Abbey: The Movie. He revealed that an ill-timed injury may have contributed to his character being missing from Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.[1]
His other credits include Death Comes to Pemberley in which he portrayed George Wickham. He portrayed Hugh Alexander in The Imitation Game, which also starred Allen Leech, Tuppence Middleton, and Andrew Havill. Goode also starred alongside Penelope Wilton in Belle. He appeared alongside Ed Cooper Clarke, Harry Hadden-Paton, Kate Phillips, Julian Ovenden, and Anna Chancellor in The Crown; Charles Edwards, Jane Lapotaire, and Penny Downie appeared in season 3.
