History[]
Series Six 1925[]
Barrow applies for a job on Reresby's estate, only to find it deserted and disorganized and the final Reresby refusing to let go of the past. Reresby gives Barrow a tour of the Dryden Park house, revealing that he once had two sons - both of whom never came back from the Great War - as well as a deceased wife. He also reveals that he hosted the Fife Princesses, the Connaughts, the Duke of Argyll and the Queen of Spain at his estate. He then suspects Barrow as a republican after he responds "but that was some time ago." Reresby subsequently refuses him the position at Dryden Park.
