Lady Mary and Lord Gillingham meet at the Peter Pan Statue in series five. Mary breaks with the news that her interest in him has vanished. Charles Blake commented on the location chosen for this meeting early the night before, stating that the spot will "make him dream of happy families."

Peter Pan Statue today (2013)
The Peter Pan Statue is located in Kensington Gardens along with the Prince Albert Memorial. Kensington Gardens are generally regarded as being the western extent of the neighbouring Hyde Park from which they were originally taken, with West Carriage Drive (The Ring) and the Serpentine Bridge forming the boundary between them. The Gardens are fenced and more formal than Hyde Park.[1]
