Rob James-Collier (born Robert Collier on 23 September, 1976; Stockport, Greater Manchester, England) is the actor who plays Thomas Barrow in Downton Abbey.
He is also known for his role on the ITV soap Coronation Street.
His real last name is simply "Collier", but due to another Rob Collier being in the British actors' union, he uses one of his middle names as part of his last name.[citation needed]
