Lady Rose MacClare[1] is the daughter of The Marquess and Marchioness of Flintshire and the great-niece of Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham. At some point in 1920 or 1921, she will visit Downton Abbey. Lady Rose is played by Lily James.
Her mother's childless cousin, Lady Rosamund Painswick, takes a great interest in her romantic love life.
