Lady Rose MacClare[1] is the daughter of The Marquess and Marchioness of Flintshire, the sister of her brother, the granddaughter of Roberta, the great-niece of Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham and Patrick Crawley, 5th Earl of Grantham, the first cousin-once-removed of Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham and Lady Rosamund Painswick, first cousin once-removed-in-law of Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham and Marmaduke Painswick, the second cousin of Lady Mary Crawley, Sybil Branson and Edith Crawley and the second cousin-in-law of Tom Branson and Matthew Crawley.
Her mother's childless cousin, Lady Rosamund Painswick, takes a great interest in her romantic love life.
