- — Episode 5.02
Sergeant Willis is a policeman who comes to Downton Abbey to ask questions about the death of Alex Green, who had stayed at Downton previously.
When he mentions to Carson and Mrs Hughes that a witness has come forward, Mrs Hughes is troubled, having suspected Mr Bates might be responsible for Green's death (because Green had raped his wife Anna).
